I started over 9 years ago with a pair of females as pets and over the years i have gained enough knowledge and understanding to build my own unit and increase my numbers to what i have today. My Chinchilla herd consists of pure standards from some of the best UK Breeders all of which have won their own awards, one male is a double grandshow champion and reserve show champion and a lot of my own bred animals are 2nd generation of the same lines of the 2006 National Champion. My herd also consists of a Grandshow Champions and a Reserve Grandshow Champion as well as Best Young Standards and Best mutations. I also have a few females from Ritterspach USA lines and some stunning European bred females from France. In the last year as novice exhibitor i have won many awards including a Reserve Show Champion my own bred standard male from Sid and Envy. In the 2006/2007 season i have won some very high awards beating main show exhibitors and walked away with a few special awards (see my awards) and going on to win the Reserve Grandshow Champion as mentioned above. In the 2007/08 season i became a Main Show exhibitor in December 07 and i won Best Adult Standard, Reserve Best Standard Male, Best Adult Mutation, Reserve Mutation (x2) and also Reserve Young Mutation as well as many 1sts, 2nds, 3rds and HCs. Since showing i have won 9 Novice 1st Ribbons, 3 Main Bench 1st Ribbons as well as 11 group/special awards to name but a few, and I am looking forward to adding to those in the coming 08/09 season. I breed Pure Standards, Black Velvets, Wilson Whites (silvers, mosaics etc), Violets, Ultra Violets, Pink Whites and Beige.
